VOLUNTEER

"Across the nation, schools are defying expectations and succeeding. What makes them different? In nearly every case, a community rallied to improve its schools. We all reap rewards from good schools: The education of young people affects everything from the economy to national security. The key is to get involved, whether or not you have children."
(PARADE, August 27, 2006)

For the 2008 - 2009 school year, we will need approximately 60 volunteers to work weekly with 3rd grade students at Lake Forest Elementary.

Support The Alliance for Quality Education (AFQE) and Greenville County public schools by volunteering to help with the Sustained School Support. You may also serve on a committee, at an event, or volunteer for other The Alliance for Quality Education (AFQE) initiatives. Contact us today to volunteer or to find out how you can help.

Graduate Greenville, an organization aimed at improving the high school graduation rate, is also in need of volunteers. View Graduate Greenville volunteer opportunities.
